Abstract

Research of  whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) was conducted in April to June 2016. The aims of this research is to determine the behaviour, especially related to the pattern and frequency of attendance migration or rise to the surface waters of the whale shark. Calculation of the number of whale sharks do rise to the surface waters above fishing trap  Kwatisore scattered in the waters, while the pattern detected by using PSAT migration  implanted whale sharks. The results showed that the whale sharks in the waters rise to the surface of the specimen and the total amount to 82 to orientate migration  PSAT monitoring whale sharks of Kwatisore  waters to the north of the island of Papua, northern waters of the Philippines, where the migration time from Kwatisore waters to north waters of the Philippines and back again Kwatisore waters to do for 2 weeks. Increasing the frequency of whale sharks during the months of April to June by 82 specimens, which rise to the surface waters of the whale sharks because of the availability of anchovy in the fishing trap and adjustments are rising more whale sharks in the mornings
